With an allusion to the Fire Department of New York on the tenth anniversary of September 11, 2001, Bilbao firemen have become this year (and there are already 3) in a calendar to raise funds. The photos, made by Lucho Rengifo, has countless winks with a tattoo on a firefighter who says "Twin towers forever" (Twin Towers forever), a quarter of the firefighters of New York, etc..
The calendar has a print run of 25,000 copies and can be purchased at kiosks, online ( http://www.igon.com/BomberosBi/index.htm ) or by phone at 902 886 335 (Monday to Friday from 9 : 00 to 13:00).
The price is 8 euros, a very low price considering that any thematic calendar available at kiosks in the Plaza Circular , Fnac Bilbao and San Sebastian and libraries range from 10-15 euros minimum. In addition, the revenue will cover the travel of Bilbao Fire Fire Olympics 2011 and the rest will get on a NGO.
